The Astronaut Room Edit
A quiet corner of the galaxy, just for bedtime
How this design comes together
This room is built around the calm of a dusty powder-blue sky rather than a bright cartoon galaxy — soft walls, warm wood floors, and just enough sparkle to make it feel like the stars followed a small astronaut home. A glowing cloud-and-moon piece anchors the headboard wall, while a cluster of porthole decals brings the feeling of looking out from a real spaceship window.
Every layer adds a bit more wonder — a galaxy-print bedspread, a soft round rug scattered with planets, and a rotating star projector that turns lights-out into its own quiet light show. Plush toys, cozy slippers, and a helmet-shaped storage cart round out a room that’s equal parts mission control and safe place to land.
